Cub Scout Leadership Training Information and Registration.

Oct 14, Council's Tiger Prowl at Wallwood Information and Registration. Register by family at the Scout Shop on Thomasville Rd.

Oct 27-28, Council's Family Camp at Wallwood Information and Registration. Register by family at the Scout Shop on Thomasville Rd.

Jan 27, Scouting for Food distribution. Class A uniforms and comfortable walking shoes. We will distribute bags for neighbors to fill with non-perishable food. Many hands make light work!

Feb 3, Scouting for Food collection. Class A uniforms and comfortable walking shoes. We will collect the bags of food. This goes quickly if we have lots of people and a parent willing to drive along.



Completed Activities 2016-2017:

Sept 13. 6pm. Recruit at Kate Sullivan's open house. Be there at 6pm, ends at 7:45pm. Wear Class A.

Sept 24. 6pm Pack kick-off meeting at Webelos 2 leader's house. Potluck dinner. Email sent 9/11/16 with agenda.

Sept 26. 6pm. Recruit at Canopy Oak's open house. Be there at 6pm, ends at 7:45pm. Wear Class A.

Oct 8-9. Saturday 12:30pm to Sunday afternoon. Local camp-out. Will earned Fix-It badge and parts of Camping Adventure. Need tent and usual camping gear. Bring your Class A uniform. For directions and detailed information, call church office 850-385-5146 and you will be given the contact numbers for the Pack Leadership.

Oct 21-23, Council's Family Camp at Wallwood Information and Registration. Register by family at the Scout Shop on Thomasville Rd.

Oct 25, Pack Meeting in Sander's Hall. Food, games, and awards. Wear Class A uniform.

Nov 19, 1-3pm Nature Center, Park-2-Park trail. Geocaching and campfire.

Jan 16, 6-7pm parent meeting and Cyber Chip. 7pm Guest speaker for Building a Better World.

Jan 23, 7pm Scout House. Class A uniforms. Guest speaker for Webelos and Arrow of Light's Aware and Care badge. Bears and Tigers welcome to join us and meet Mrs. Davis and her seeing eye dog.

Jan 28, Scouting for Food distribution. Class A uniforms and comfortable walking shoes. Meet at Cubmaster's house (address in parent minutes 1/16/2017). 12:00 pm to stuff flyers in bags. 12:30 pm to distribute bags. Many hands makes light work!

Jan 31, 6:30 pm. Pack meeting in Sander's Hall. Class A uniform.

Feb 4, Scouting for Food collection. Class A uniforms and comfortable walking shoes. Meet at Cubmaster's house (address in parent minutes 1/16/2017). 12:30pm to collect the bags of food. Feb 18, University of Scouting held at Good Samaritan UMC, 3720 Capital Circle SE. Information . Please "help the Pack go" by becoming a trained leader!

Feb 24-26, Camping at Ochlockonee River State Park. Tent camping with Boy Scouts in the group campground. Stone Age and Primitive Arts Festival at Park.

Feb 28, 6:30 pm, Pack Meeting in Sander's Hall.

Mar 23, time TBD, set up pack Derby track in Sander's Hall.

Mar 24, Blue and Gold Potluck Banquet and Pack Pinewood Derby. 6:30 pm eat; 7:15 pm race. Class A uniforms.

Mar 28, 6:30 pm, Pack Meeting in Sander's Hall.

Apr 25, 6:30 pm, Rank Awards and Crossover Ceremony in Sander's Hall. Class A uniform.


Completed Activities 2015-2016:

August 21 to 22, 6pm to 9am. Sander's Hall at Saint Paul's UMC. Sleep over. Dinner is on your own but breakfast is provided.

Sep 26, 10am to 1pm - Scouting Adventure - Webelos spend a day filled with Boy Scout activities and adventure in Cascades Park. The Boy Scouts want to share with you that the scouting adventure continues past your Arrow of Light and toward the next great achievement- Eagle Scout!

Sep 26, 4-7pm - Popcorn Sale at Lake Ella Publix. Wear Class A uniform.

Sep 26, 6:30-7:30pm - Pack meeting. Wear Class A uniform. Dues and medical forms to be turned in. Awards presented.

Oct 11, 1-4pm - Popcorn Sale at Lake Ella Publix. Wear Class A uniform.

Oct 23-24, Pack Camping at Wallwood. "Knights of Wallwood" registration. This is our only scheduled Pack camping this Fall. $45 per person includes food.

Oct 27, 6:30-7:30pm - Pack meeting. Wear Class A uniform.

Dec 12, 10:30am. Holiday Party/Pack Meeting. Meet in Sander's Hall at 10:30am. We will travel to Woodmont Senior Living Center to sing carols to the residents and then return to Sander's Hall for lunch. There will be a sign up for each scout to bring a side or dessert. Chicken and drinks will be provided. Adventure and popcorn awards will be given out.

Jan 30. Scouting for Food bag distribution. 12:30pm. Meet at Scout House. Wear class A uniforms. Our zone this year is near Winthrop Park.

Feb 6. Scouting for Food bag collection. 12:30pm. Meet at Scout House. Wear class A uniforms.

Feb 6. Pinewood Derby car building workshop at the Scout House.

Feb 20. Council's Webelos II Spring Hike-in at Bear Creek. Check Suwanneeriver.net for info.

Feb 26-28. Big trip to Wild Animal Safari, Pine Mountain, GA and camping at FDR State Park, GA.

Feb 27. Council's University of Scouting training

Mar 3. Evening set-up of Sander's Hall for Pack Pinewood Derby.

Mar 4. Pack Pinewood Derby in Sanders Hall. Arrive 6:30pm to eat a light dinner. Car check in by 7pm. Then we race!!

Mar 21. Webelos Service Project at Elenor-Phipps Park.

Apr 16. Council's Pinewood Derby

May 7. Council's Wallwood Work Day.

May 17. Blue and Gold Banquet celebrating Scouting


Completed Activities 2014-2015:

Sep 12-13, 5pm-9:00am - Sleep Over in Sander's Hall. Dinner and breaksfast.

Sep 13, 10am to 1pm - 2nd Annual ScoutFest at Cascade's Park. We are participating in this Council event to promote scouting and Pack 115. We need volunteers and supplies. We will be letting kids make rockets and racing in a "space derby".

Sep 13, 10am at Faith Presbyterian. Sue Fristoe has graciously volunteered to attend, gather the information on the popcorn fundraiser and sign our Pack up for selling dates. Thanks, Sue! Your time will earn our Pack an extra 2% commision on sales! Our base commission is 32% sales.

Sep 26-28. Pack Camping near Lake Seminole. Our Cub families will camp along with Troop 115 and assist with a conservation project. Details to come.

Oct 11, 9am to 3pm - Tiger Prowl at Wallwood. All Tigers should try to attend this one day event. It is an excellent intro to Cub Scouts with fun events and activities. $15.00 per person, Tigers and Tiger partners only, no siblings. Deadline to register: Oct 1.

Oct 17-19 and 26 are two Saint Paul's events that our Cub Scouts may enjoy and in which are welcome to participate. See the chuch website for information on the Church Camping Weekend (17-19) and Trunk or Treat (26).

Nov 11. CHANGE: We will not be marching in the Veteran's Day parade due to parade restrictions however, as a spectator, you are still showing support and appreciation for veterans and our Troop 115 boy scouts who are marching.

Nov 14-16. Family Camp weekend at Wallwood. This is another wonderful Council event. This year's theme is "Weird Wacky Science". We are encouraging all families to attend this year as a Park camping event. A meal option is available which makes this a stress-free weekend in terms of planning and supplies. You will need to bring Friday dinner with you, since people's varying arrival times and check-in assistance makes it difficult for Wallwood staff to plan and serve a community meal that night. Deadlines: early registration is by Oct 21 for scouts $30, adults $25 and food $15/person; regular registration is by Nov 1 for scouts $40, adults $35 and food $15 per person.

Dec 13. (~10am to 2pm) - Community service & Holiday Pack Party. We will meet at a designated location to sing Christmas Carols and then return to Sander's Hall for our Holiday luncheon. Because of the December holidays, this serves as our Pack Meeting for the month.

Jan 17. Webcast training for new Cub Program launching June 1, 2015. Details were sent via Pack e-mail but are also available at Program Updates. The new Cub Scouting program will be more fun and exciting for boys, and easier to implement for unit leaders.

Jan 24-25. Big Trip to Kennedy Space Center to sleep overnight under the retired Space Shuttle Atlantis. Details to be provided at Den meeting prior to trip or e-mail for those who have signed up and paid.

Feb 7, noon - Scouting for Food distribution. Class A uniforms. Meet at Scout House. We will divide into groups and drive to the Waverly neighborhood to distribute bags. Many hands makes light work!

Feb 14, noon - Scouting for Food collection and Derby Car Build day. Class A uniforms for food collection (can bring change of clothes for afterward). Meet at Scout House. We will divide into groups and drive to the Waverly neighborhood and collect the bags of food people have left at the mailbox. Less walking! This goes quickly if we have lots of people and a few parents willing to drive along. When done, the patterns and a saw will be available to aid you in creating your awesome Derby Car design!

Mar 6, 6:30pm - Pack Pinewood Derby in Sanders Hall. We are grilling out! Arrive 6:30pm to eat. Car check in by 7pm. Then we race!!

Mar 31, 6:30pm - Special Pack Meeting night - The Arrow of Light, Cub Scout's highest honor, will be awarded to those Webelos II who have earned it. The Cross-over Ceremony will also be held for those Webelos II who have chosen to join a Boy scout troop.

Apr 28 - Optional den meeting night.

May 12 - Special Pack Meeting night - Blue and Gold Banquet celebrating Scouting and Scouts who have completed all their requirement will advanced rank. Blue and Gold Banquet dinner and Scout Themed Dessert Contest! Tthere will be a sign up sheet for sides.

Summer is a fantastic time to invite to our activities young boys, age 7-11 or rising 1st through 5th, who may be interested in joining Cub Scouts. We need to grow Pack 115!. It never hurts to ask, so have courage and extend the invite.

Summertime Pack Activities. Attend 3 events to earn your scout summertime pin.

May 30, 12 noon to 3pm Tom Brown Park. Summer Kick-off. Play, eat, bring a friend who may want to join scouts.

June 13, 10am to 12 noon. Scout House at Saint Paul's UMC. Art Explosion! Create a scout flag (to be used during the year), paint, mold clay, and construct a sculpture. Bring a friend who may want to join scouts.

July 18, 10am to 12 noon, Winthrop Park. Water Wars! Bring water guns, water balloons, sponges, anything that's wet. Dress appropriately. Bring a towel. Bring a friend who may want to join scouts.
